FAQs

  • As an artist, every commissioned work is unique and comes in different sizes and materials and subject matter, which makes it challenging to provide a fixed price before discussing the specific project details.

However, I can provide reference prices for commissioning a landscape canvas painting based on similar works I have created in the past. These reference prices can give you an idea of what to expect in terms of cost.

    30x40cm - $550NZD

    50x70cm - $1400NZD

    150x80cm - $3800NZD

Additionally, you can check my shop to get an idea of the pricing for my previous works. Keep in mind that commissions are slightly more expensive than already-made works.

Feel free to contact me with your specific project details, and I would be happy to discuss pricing, payment plans and other details with you.

  • Can I ship world-wide?
    Yes!

All commissioned work is shipped from my studio in Christchurch, New Zealand.
I have safely shipped artwork all around New Zealand and as far as Texas, Germany and Singapore.

*please note that shipping is an additional cost discussed prior to accepting the commission

  • Look at the my portfolio: Take a look at my previous work to get an idea of my style and overall aesthetic. This can give you a better sense of what to expect from your commission.

Communicate your vision: Be prepared to share reference images, point at thing you like and dislike, favorite artworks, or any other inspirations that can help me understand your vision.

Progress update: This is a crucial stage as it allows you to provide feedback and make any changes before the piece is finalized. This collaborative approach ensures that you are completely satisfied with the final result and that the artwork truly reflects your vision.

Most importantly: As an artist, I prioritize delivering high-quality work that meets my clients' expectations. If I'm not confident that I can do that, I won't take on a commission. It's important that my clients trust me in the process.

I retain the right to refuse a commission, but I will always explain my reasons. Ultimately, my goal is to create art that both the client and I can be proud of.

  • I'm here to guide the process and make it as smooth as possible. You don't need to have a precise idea of the finished product - that's my job.

All you need is a vision for what you want to achieve, whether it's bringing life to a room or creating a meaningful gift for someone special.

I will work with you to refine that vision and translate it into a piece of art that exceeds your expectations. With my experience and expertise, I can offer suggestions and advice on everything from materials to color schemes to ensure that the finished piece is everything you hoped for.

  • The process is simple and there are absolutely no obligations.

Start by sending me an email with the information you have: (vision for the project, any reference images you have or any other relevant details). From there, we can start discussing your project in more detail and work out the specifics, including materials, size, and pricing.

You are not obligated to commit to the project if it's not the right fit for you. So don't hesitate to reach out - I'm excited to hear about your project and explore the possibilities of creating something truly special together.
